The Computer and Information Systems 帮助台 offers computer support services to students, 教师, 打电话给工作人员, 在线, 电子邮件, 或者亲自去.

The 独联体帮助台 supports SPU students for technology resources such as SPU Online Services, 电子邮件帐户, 校园印刷, connecting from home to the SPU resources, use of classroom technology, 校园网, and limited 人al computer equipment support.

These instructions are for 人al computers, iphone, 平板电脑, and other devices with a web browser. If you do not have a web browser on your device (most commonly gaming devices), go to CIS’s 在线 registration page.

  1. Connect your device (laptop, smartphone, iPad, etc.) to SPU-Wireless. The network key (password) is case sensitive and is SPU-Wireless (the same as the network name).
  2. Open a web browser and log in with your SPU username (do not include the “@kshgxm.com”) and your password.

Viruses, phishing, and spoofing

网络钓鱼 is a type of scam where a scammer presents themselves as a legitimate business, 人, or entity in an attempt to get private data such as credit card information.

Maintaining secure 电子邮件 practices and identifying fraudulent behavior are important when it comes to avoiding 电子邮件 scams. Regard as suspicious 电子邮件s that ask you to disclose sensitive information such as credit card information, social security numbers, passwords and usernames, or any other sensitive 人al data, and proceed with caution. Contact the 帮助台 if you feel unsure about an 电子邮件.

欺骗 is when a fraudulent 电子邮件 is sent from a fake 电子邮件 address, often one that is intended to look like the 电子邮件 was sent by someone the recipient knows. Outlook has built in protections against spoofing, and will often flag suspected 电子邮件s.

Technology emergencies

To report an urgent technical problem during CIS non-business hours, contact SPU’s Office of 安全 and 安全 at 206-281-2922.
